Children's Christmas Cantata

The annual Hunt Valley Baptist
Church Jr. Cantata,
always one of the highlights of the church calendar, exceeded all
expectations this year. The cantata, entitled "We Want More," featured
a heart-warming children and teen skit in which students petitioned their
school principal and teachers for permission to celebrate their school
Christmas by making it more about Christ (Wow, what a concept!).
The drama and choral music were performed superbly by the children and
teens, and everyone who
attended were imbued with a deeper appreciation for the true meaning of
Christmas - the Christ who was born in Bethlehem longs to be born in the
hearts of those who would make Him their Saviour.
Special appreciation is extended to the co-directors of the program, Caleb
and Mary Bottrell.
