It has been said, “Raising teenagers is like nailing Jell-O to a tree. It can get a little messy.” Today, more than ever, teens are looking for answers on how to deal with the issues of life. Unfortunately, many are turning to drugs, alcohol, and immorality; but in the end, they are left empty and without hope. Hello, my name is Dan Monahan. My wife Tammy and I are the new youth leaders at HVBC. We have four children, and three of them are now teens. We are very excited about what the Lord is doing in our youth department as our teens are discovering that living for God brings true joy and fulfillment in life. If you are a teen or a parent of a teen that is struggling or just looking for a place to fit in, I want to encourage you. There is hope and direction that can be found in God’s Word.
