About Foundations of My Faith
The Foundations of My Faith Discipleship Curriculum is a comprehensive three-level program designed to ground believers in the essential truths of the Christian faith. Each level builds upon the last, taking you from the foundational principles of salvation all the way through to a deep and practical understanding of what it means to live victoriously in Christ. You will be paired one-on-one with a discipler who will walk alongside you through every lesson, offering guidance, accountability, and encouragement. Upon completing all three levels, graduates are invited to become disciplers themselves, passing on what they have learned to the next generation of believers.

❋ Intentional StructureOur program is designed with purpose at every level. Each booklet builds upon the last, ensuring a steady and meaningful progression in your faith from beginning to end.
❋ One-on-One DiscipleshipYou will be personally paired with a discipler who is committed to walking alongside you every step of the way. This one-on-one relationship creates a safe and focused environment for real growth and honest conversation.
❋ A Curriculum Grounded in ScriptureEvery lesson in the Foundations of My Faith curriculum is grounded in the Word of God. You will not just learn about the Christian life — you will be pointed back to Scripture as the foundation for everything you believe and how you live.
❋ A Community That ContinuesCompleting the program does not mean the journey ends. Graduates are invited to become disciplers themselves, creating a growing community of believers who are equipped and passionate about passing their faith on to others.
Level OneThe Foundation
Level One lays the groundwork for everything that follows. Across four booklets, you will explore the core truths every believer needs to know — what salvation truly means, the assurance of your eternal security in Christ, the significance of baptism, and the authority and importance of God's Word in your daily life. This level is where the journey begins.
Level Two Growing in Your Faith
Level Two takes you deeper into the life of an active and growing believer. Across eight booklets, you will study the disciplines and doctrines that shape a maturing Christian — from prayer and the work of the Holy Spirit, to witnessing, forgiveness, financial stewardship, and understanding God's will for your life. This level equips you to live out your faith with purpose and intentionality.
Level Three Living It Out
Level Three brings everything together with a focus on the deeper and more practical dimensions of the Christian life. Across eight booklets, you will explore grace, sanctification, victory over sin, the person of Jesus Christ, creation, spiritual gifts, and the armor God has given every believer. This level challenges you to move from knowledge into action and walk in the fullness of what God has called you to.

Foundations of My Faith Grief Series
We are excited to announce a new discipleship opportunity coming soon to Hunt Valley Baptist Church. The Foundations of My Faith Grief Series is an eight-part Christ-centered journey designed to help believers navigate the weight of loss with honesty, compassion, and biblical truth. Each booklet walks through a different dimension of grief — from the initial shock of loss to the quiet questions that follow — while continually anchoring the heart in the nearness of Christ and the promises of God. Whether you are walking through a season of sorrow or simply want to be better equipped to walk alongside others, this series will meet you where you are. Stay tuned for dates and details.
