Children’s Ministries

At Hunt Valley Baptist Church, we believe children are a precious gift from God and an important part of our church family. Our children’s ministries are designed to teach kids God’s Word in a way that is engaging, memorable, and age-appropriate. From Sunday School and Bible Club to Vacation Bible School and other special programs, we provide opportunities for children to grow in their faith, build lasting friendships, and have fun in a safe and caring environment. Because children are the future, we are committed to investing in their lives today.

Sunday School

Sunday School at Hunt Valley Baptist Church is a foundational part of our children’s ministry. Each class is designed to teach God’s Word in a way that children can understand and apply to their lives. Through age-appropriate lessons, interactive teaching, and caring teachers, Sunday School provides a place where kids can grow in their knowledge of the Bible and their personal walk with God. Our goal is not only to teach biblical truth, but also to help children develop a strong spiritual foundation that will guide them for years to come.

Junior Church

Junior Church at Hunt Valley Baptist Church gives children the opportunity to learn and worship on their level while adults are in the main service. With Bible lessons, singing, and practical teaching, kids are engaged in a fun and meaningful way that helps them understand God’s Word. Junior Church provides a place where children can grow in their faith, build godly character, and develop a heart for worship in an age-appropriate setting.

Backyard Bible Club

During the summer months, Hunt Valley Baptist Church hosts a fun and exciting Backyard Bible Club led by Pastor Rodriguez. Children enjoy engaging Bible stories, interactive games, and refreshing snow cones — all in a welcoming neighborhood setting. The Bible Club meets at the apartments in Cockeysville, along the Cranbrook Road corridor, providing families in the community with a safe and encouraging place for kids to learn about God’s Word and make lasting memories.
