Prison Ministry

At Hunt Valley Baptist Church, we believe the message of Jesus Christ brings hope to every heart, no matter the circumstances. Through our Prison Ministry, we bring the gospel into the Baltimore County Detention Center, sharing God’s Word with men and women who are often forgotten by society but never forgotten by God.

Each week, our team ministers through singing, preaching, teaching, prayer, and personal encouragement. Many have come to know Christ as Savior behind those walls, and countless others have been strengthened in their faith. We count it a privilege to see lives transformed by the power of the gospel, even in the most difficult places.
